One of the most poignant objects that evoke the solemn and the personal devastation of the sinking are the shoes of Titanic's Unknown Child and a mortuary bag which was used to identify and safeguard the personal effects of Titanic victims.

This is the fourth part of a four part article that should be read in sequence. Use the pushin holes on the back of the outlet for the bottom wires. Put the white or neutral wire in the pushin hole on the silver screw side with the longer prong slot on the face of the outlet. Use the pushin hole for the hot or black wire on the brass screw side of the outlet with the smaller prong slot on the face of the outlet. Make sure to wrap each wire in the direction the screw tightens, bare enough wire to wrap around the whole screw without overlapping itself, then compress the wire in a circle around the screw with needle nose pliers so that the wire fits loosely against the screw allowing it to tighten, then tighten each of the terminal screws snugly enough to keep the wires from moving when the outlet is handled. Treat the black and white pigtailed wires for the switched outlet as one pigtail, but don't tape those two pigtails together. To make room, start at the left side of the box with the pigtail closest to that side and leave the pigtail in the box so that the top of the wire nut points up. Leave the pigtail closest to the center of the box with the top of the wire nut pointed down, but wrap the wire nut and wire with electrical tape (preferrably waterproof electrical tape) to keep debris and condensation from getting in the space between the wire nut and the wires. Leave the next pigtail in the right side of the box with the top of the wire nut pointed up. Don't worry if there's some overlap with the middle pigtail, as long as there's room for the outlet in the box. Arrange the pigtail for the ground wires, if there is one instead of a clamp, any way the pigtail fits into the box. Then, reattach the two mounting and cover screws.
It's not only common courtesy but standard practice to mark the switched part of the outlet. Take a black, permanent magic marker and put a dot between the two vertical prong slots on the face of the outlet. Photo 3 shows how to mark the outlet. Use the tester to not only test both parts of the outlet, but test the outlets on the same circuit before and after the plugin that's always hot.
